Travel Insurance
A hike to the Langtang area is at a high altitude. The area is largely uninhabited and has unique and difficult routes. For this area, travel insurance is very necessary. For tourists and hikers, travel insurance is a lifeline and safety net. All medical situations, airline cancellations, emergency evacuations, lost luggage, and altitudes greater than 3000 meters must be covered by travel insurance.
Difficulty
The trek across the Langtang area is somewhat challenging. The paths are rugged, off-the-beaten-path, and least developed. The numerous ascends and descents make it more difficult for trekkers to trek. Other aspects that make this walk challenging include the high altitudes, the shifting temperature, and the absence of any significant amenities.
But this journey in the Langtang area is doable with the right preparation and support before the hike. Months before beginning the journey, we advise you to engage in physical activity such as workouts, day walks, and physical preparation. Also, before hiking at high altitudes, get the appropriate health screenings. Throughout the expedition, you may entirely rely on our advice and support.
Altitude Sickness and Acclimatization
During a trek, acclimatization rest is required. Utilize the acclimatization rest days wisely by going on a few quick treks and exploring the area. It aids in preventing altitude sickness and aids in adaptation to the environment. Mountain altitude sickness is common. Anyone may experience it.
