    The first day of the Mustang Muktinath tour starts with an early morning departure from Pokhara. The road distance from Pokhara to Lete is round 123 kilometers and takes about 6 to 7 hours to reach.

    The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains, beautiful valleys, and charming villages. The road can be winding and can be bumpy in certain sections, but the scenic beauty compensates for any discomfort. 

    As the vehicle ascends through the winding roads, you will get closer to the Himalayas, and the climate gradually changes to a cooler and more refreshing one.

    The road journey takes you along the Kali Gandaki River, which flows alongside the road for a significant part of the drive. The river is known for being one of the deepest gorges in the world, flanked by towering peaks on both sides. 

    Throughout the drive, there are several viewpoints and stops where you can take pictures and soak in the majestic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

      The drive from Lete to Muktinath covers the distance of aroung 64 kilometers and takes around 6 to 7 hours. the drive will take you through a breathtaking landscape as you ascend towards the Himalayan region. 

      The road passes through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and dramatic gorges. Along the way, you'll catch glimpses of the towering peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, creating a stunning backdrop for your journey.

      The route includes a mix of paved and unpaved roads, with some sections being quite rough and bumpy. However, the journey offers a unique opportunity to witness the stark contrast between the lush lower regions and the barren, high-altitude landscape of the Mustang region.

      After a few hours of driving, you reach the holy town of Muktinath, situated at an elevation of 3,800 meters above sea level. Muktinath is a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, and the main attraction here is the Muktinath Temple. 

      After the visit to Muktinath Temple, you drive a short distance to Kagbeni, where you'll spend the night.

        Today, you wake up to the crisp mountain air in Kagbeni. After a hearty breakfast, you begin your journey towards Tatoani, a scenic route that takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the region.

        The distance from Kagbeni to Tatoani is around 145 kilometers and takes around 6 to 7 days to reach.As you leave Kagbeni behind, you drive along the Kali Gandaki River, the world's deepest gorge, flanked by towering cliffs on either side. 

        The road winds its way through the arid and barren landscapes, passing traditional Tibetan-style villages, ancient monasteries, and chortens (Buddhist stupas) that dot the rugged terrain.

        The drive takes you through Jomsom, the largest town in the Mustang region. Jomsom is known for its strong winds, which often sweep through the valley, creating a surreal atmosphere. 

        You can visit the local market, interact with the friendly locals, and get a glimpse of the unique culture and lifestyle of the people living in this remote region.

        After few hours of driving you will reach Tatopani. The place is renowned for its geothermal springs, believed to have healing properties. 

        After a long day's drive, soaking in the rejuvenating hot springs is a perfect way to relax and unwind. The therapeutic waters provide a much-needed respite for weary travelers and trekkers, soothing tired muscles and reviving spirits. 

        The evening at Tatopani can be spent strolling around the town, interacting with the locals, and savoring authentic Nepali cuisine in one of the local eateries.

          Today we will head towards towards Pokhara after morning breakfast. The distance from Tatopani to Pokhara is approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles), and the drive usually takes around 6 to 7 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way.

          As we begin our drive, get ready to be mesmerized by the stunning vistas that unfold before your eyes. The road winds through lush green hills, terraced fields, and charming villages nestled in the mountains.
